Nutrition Counselling
Most people think of nutrition support as meal plans and food lists. Those things can be helpful, but the way that I help people as a dietitian goes deeper than that. My counselling skills toolbox comes in really handy when we’re exploring how your emotions relate to how you eat.
Lots of the people I work with tell me that they know what they “should” be eating, but they find themselves struggling with things like late snacking, intense cravings, or mindless eating. It can feel tempting to try another diet to gain more “control”.
Unfortunately, trying another diet or eating plan tends to backfire.
My passion is to help folks finally make peace with food and listen to their bodies so they can carve out more space for what matters in life.
As a dietitian, I focus on:
Eating disorder recovery
Disordered eating
Ending the restrict and binge cycle
Emotional eating
Healing relationship to food
Body image work
Veganism and plant-based eating
life is too short to spend another day at war with yourself

I am happy to offer direct billing to some insurance providers!
